Module Syllabus Overview
Module covers all the aspects related to the procedures for criminal law. Included is the process for bringing the accused to trial, principles of interrogation, how searches may be done, how evidence is gathered and seized, different warrants as well as the litigation stages.
This module has a written exam as well as two assessments. The two assessments combined have a marking weight of 20% and the exam carries 80% of the marks.
This module is at the NQF 7 level and is worth 12 credits.
