Module Syllabus Overview
This module introduces fundamental rights and the importance of these rights. The module will explain how fundamental rights apply to our every day lives, how they apply to law, as well as their limitations. In addition the module explains how fundamental rights are protected, what happens when fundamental rights clash with other rights, and how we interpret them.
This module has a multiple choice (MCQ) exam as well as two assessments. The two assessments combined have a marking weight of 20% and the exam carries 80% of the marks.
This module is at the NQF 6 level and is worth 12 credits.
