Module Syllabus Overview
This module covers the history of South African law. You will learn about where the common law comes from, the roots of Western law as well as indigenous law. You will also learn about the Constitution and its role in South African law.
The module has a multiple choice exam (MCQ) as well as two assessments. The two assessments combined have a marking weight of 20% and the exam carries 80% of the marks.
This module is at the NQF 5 level and is worth 12 credits.
