Module Syllabus Overview

This module introduces the student to the South African legal system. You will learn about the different sources of law, what law is, the court system, different types of legal disputes as well as how the Constitution influences our law.

This module has a multiple choice exam (MCQ) as well as two assessments. The two assessments combined have a marking weight of 20% and the exam carries 80% of the marks.

This module is at the NQF 5 level and is worth 12 credits.
