Module Syllabus Overview
This module covers all the aspects of family law. You will learn about the requirements for a valid engagement and marriage, the different types of marriage regimes available, how divorce is handled, requirements for maintenance and even children's rights.
This module has a multiple choice (MCQ) exam as well as two assessments. The two assessments combined have a marking weight of 20% and the exam carries 80% of the marks.
This module is at the NQF 6 level and is worth 12 credits.
